Saskia Ruijs


Saskia has been Principal, Interior Design at bureau^proberts since 2002. She has nearly 20 years’ experience delivering a range of multi-residential, institutional, commercial and hospitality projects.

Before joining bureau^proberts in 2003, Saskia spent time working in Europe and at another local firm. Her designs are driven by a fascination for how humans interact within spaces. Saskia is also interested in adaptive redesign and approaches every project with a strong sustainability focus.

Recently, Saskia has been involved in the delivery of a number of projects for the Queensland University of Technology, including the Chancellery, Bookshop and Guild Bar. She also played a significant role in the M&A, Westmark Milton and Water Street 1 (Cambridge Towers) multi-residential developments, as well as several Mantra hotel refurbishments throughout Australia and New Zealand.
