Canvas Bulimba responds to Brisbane’s shift in medium-residential subtropical living with a new approach. The mid-rise apartment concept brings aspect, amenity, and identity for long term community-centric dwelling.

Drawing on an era of maritime industry, Canvas uses heavy monolithic forms to create connection to the built fabric of the neighbourhood. The curved concrete exterior creates a sense of substance and allows the form to integrate with the landscape.

We enjoyed designing for @graya and collaborating with a range of specialist consultants to deliver the engineered cantilevers, fine grain pre-cast details, facade and roofscape planting, and precisely steel-fabricated central feature staircase.
