It’s Library and Information Week, celebrating the work that Library and information workers do all around Australia.

This year’s theme ‘Rewrite. Renew. Reimagine’ highlights our current work designing and delivering the new #EvertonParkLibrary.

Commissioned by @BrisbaneCityCouncil, the new library will be a contemporary facility located in the much-loved community precinct of Fallon Park.

Our design for the new library nestles the building in the tree canopy, creating a filter for the western sun. The interior design is also a tribute to the area’s native forest, with varied shades of leaf and bark green and a children’s treehouse to grow a love of reading.

We are pleased to be working with Council to rewrite the library’s history, renew its role as a community hub and reimagine an informed future for residents. Construction is due to commence in early 2023.
